Lloyd and Jamie Top the Averages

In the South Wales Premier League Averages for 2007, Lloyd Smith came out on top of the batting averages and Jamie Sylvester topped the bowling list.

Centurions had two batsmen in the top 10 - Lloyd Smith at number 1 and Mike O'Shea at number 4.

We had 4 players in the bowling top 10. Jamie was number 1, Mike was number 3, with Terry Williams at 8 and Adam Davies at 10.

Congratulations to all the players on this great achievement.

2004 Season Review
We are 3rd XI Division One Champions at the first time of asking.  In a stop-start, rain affected season, it was difficult to keep any kind of momentum going, but skipper Christian Bruce and vice captain Dave Fiddler (who regularly deputised when Brucie was away - usually with the 2nd XI) managed to rally the troops to an astounding run of victories. In fact, the only two matches lost were the final games of the season when the championship had long been won.
David Goodway's 98 against Cardiff was among many memorable achievements of the season.  Gareth Fiddlers' 24 wickets were also a highlight.  Some young faces for the future emerged and it will be interesting to see how many get a chance in the 2nd XI next season.
